After 2 months we finaly get our Invoice from VH after many requests for it and find they have booked us in to the wrong hotel..we wanted a hotel in near a beach and the hotel they have booked us in is 20minute drive from a beach.
They are now denying that we booked the hotel we wanted and are trying to charge us extra to change to the hotel we wanted. every time we phone them we are on hold for twenty minutes.. they are a nightmare :rolleyes:
 
ah bless them! I'm sure after spending another few hours on the phone to Mumbai you'll have it figured out (it'll probably only take another three of four invoices to get it right too!) :teeth:

Newport beach..They have booked us at Anaheim. Our travel agent is going though the tape of the phone call of the booking as I heard the travel agent request Newport beach. They probably didn't understand a word she was saying anyway!!

Can you cancel? The only time we booked a Virgin Holiday it took weeks to get our written confirmation and when we did the price was more than agreed on the phone. On the reverse of the booking form it said something along the lines of you can cancel within 7 days of recieving this form - so we did!
Good luck, Dsis is having a real battle with VH at the moment too.

well, I was speaking to DB last night and he said that if they don't change the hotel without chargeing extra we are going to cancel and book with some where else. we choose newport beach for the area and we did not want to stay in anaheim as we will only be going to DL a couple of days, so decided to stay somewhere nicer.

Maybe if we suggest canceling they will change there mind about the charge as they will be losing a lot more money!

I was thinking of going with TCS Instead as they use VA which is who we really want to fly with.. so I have priced it up with TCS and they don't have any PE left which we really want as it is a very long flight especaily as we have a 5 year old who doesnt like to sit still!



why is booking a holiday so stressfull?
