Hi, When we travel the girls will have just turned 5 and 4 and the baby will be almost 2. We have a single stroller and a double stroller. The girls are really too big for their double stroller now and will only be bigger in 10 months when we go.

Have any of you used a wagon in WDW? If so, please list pros/cons

Do any of you have any other suggestions for children of these ages?

TIA! Traci

I think that cons with a wagon would be comfort level for your 4 and 5 yo and trying to get through crowds.

Have you considered renting from an outside company? Orlando Stroller Rental seems to get great reviews. My friend rented the double for her 5 and 3 yo, and she said that it was great. This allows you to have a stroller outside the parks, too (vs. renting from Disney).

Have a great trip!

I may be wrong but I think I read somewhere that WDW didn't allow wagons. Maybe someone else knows for sure. We used a dble stroller last year for our 6 & 3 yr old. My 6 yr old is on the small size & it was just too much for him to walk the whole thing.

Wagons are not allowed in the parks. If you show up with a wagon, it will not be allowed thru.

Anything that you pull (such as a cooler with wheels) is not allowed thru the gates.

the double from orlandostrollerrentals has a 100 lb total weight limit, so if your kiddos are under that, you'd be fine. Our kids were between 96-98 lbs together our last trip, and their stroller worked great.

I can tell you from experience that wagons are not allowed into the park. They will not let you bring anything that you pull into the park.

I'd get a double stroller and bring your stroller for the little one unless you have a double stroller yourself and then rent a single stroller. It's a long day and your older ones will get tired. My girls are 7 and 10 and they're going to want a stroller after a long hot day in August.

I HAVE a double stroller AND a single one alleady but the girls are just a bit big for them now and I know in another 10 months they will only be better. They weigh 32 and 34 lbs now. They are not too heavy for it but it looks a little awkward for their legs sometimes.

The wagon i saw can be pushed as well as pulled and has seats for 2 toddlers. I guess if thats not allowed then my decision is made. Thanks all!

A wagon of any kind is not allowed, even if you can push it instead of pull.If it looks like a wagon ,they don't let you past the gates

The general rule is it must be able to be pushed instead of pulled and it must have brakes on the wheels (like strollers have).

Spoken from a mother with experience - when my kids are tired they'd rather have a tight squeeze in the stroller than walk.

Take the strollers!! ours were almost 1, 4 and 6 last time I think all of them were in the stroller at one point or another sleeping (double side by side rented from BBF for around $75 for 8 days) of course usually it was the younger 2 but the oldest had some tired legs at times too and you can't beat rolling up to the edge of the sidewalk with the stroller for parade viewing :)

Thanks! I think I know for sure to bring the strollers.
