I'm officially old now and have these spots on my arms (sun damage I know!). Any proven products that won't break the bank and that don't use harsh chemicals? Even home remedies are requested so I don't have to wear long sleeves all summer!

See a dermatologist. Home remedies don't work and can do more harm than good. Products you buy at the store are a waste of money (and can also do more harm than good.)

I use cold pressed castor oil. You buy it at vitamin shops or health food stores. I use it primarily on my face and have for years. It works better than anything else I have tried, and I have tried some pretty pricey stuff. The only drawback is the messiness.

Does the castor oil take away the spots? Thanks I will try that! I can't afford to go to a dermatologist for just a vanity issue and hate to use harsh chemicals that are sold over the counter.

I recommend Paula's Choice products - reasonably priced and you will get results! They have a website under the same name. They also offer fantastic reviews on skin care and cosmetics that I have found to be very accurate. Highly recommended.

I used Mary Kay Vitamin C serum and it took off the ones I had on my face.

I'm not sure what all chemicals are in it but I swear by the Clinique dark spot corrector clinical strength. Twice I've noticed a spot on my hands and used this stuff religiously twice a day and it was gone in a few weeks!

Edit: Usually you can find this discounted at TJ Maxx or Marshalls
