Sorry for bringing up the topic again, but I'm not sure I understand the new requirement.

Can my 9 year old ride Crush N Gusher (or any ride for that matter) with the 7 year old?

Thanks in advance for your help.

from what I understand they can ride rides but they wouldnt be able to get into the park without someone older

Although I hesitate to cite the Mom's Panel - they recently answered this question by saying that for kids 7 and under, they have to now ride with someone 14 or older.

I believe this changed when they changed the minimum park entry requirement to age 14 unless accompanied by someone 14 or older, earlier this year.

I can't speak specifically for Crush'n'Gusher, but when I was at WDW last week with DS14 and DD10 we used single rider on Test Track. When I asked, the CM's told me children needed to be 7 and up to ride alone and there was a sign inside (near the loading area) stating something similar.

children age 7 can ride by themselves or with someone age 7 or older.

Children ages 6 and under need to ride with someone 14 and older.

just returned and DS 7 and DD 8 rode several rides together.

Seven and under, and seven and up, are two very different things. I'm guessing this is the source of the OP's confusion?

I went back to verify that Mom's panel item and they contradict themselves, but it looks like an error to me.

As for the attractions they basically do not have an age limit although no child under the age of seven can ride unaccompanied no matter if they meet the height requirement. So if you have children 7 and under they will have to wait until you can ride with them or another guest who is 14 and older.

I'm guessing that the answer is UNDER 7 is the issue and 7 year olds are good. But of course, now we need a 4th (or 5th) opinion. :rotfl: Everyone else is saying 7 year olds are good to ride alone and that was my understanding in the past as well. But those under 7 can longer ride with an older person unless they are 14 or older.

(Gosh - done in by the Mom's Panel once again - I should have known.)

LOL. Thanks everyone. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens when we are there. I appreciate the help.

I have a 6, 8&9 year old. It has been our experience that once the child is 7, they can ride alone or with another child. So a parent has to ride with the 6 year old. I have been able to send my 8&9 year old on a ride without an adult. They went into Swiss Family Treehouse and rode Teacups. I was standing nearby with baby.
