Ok - So the Dfamily is heading over to our first ever trip to DLR this was an unplanned trip, so it's even more exciting. We are heading there during the first week of August. My age question is that my son will be turning 3 in early September so he won't need a ticket - do I have to bring age verification with me? :confused3 He's a pretty tall kid and being that close to turning three I'm a little nervous about it...but I also don't want to bring his birth certificate along if I don't have to...

I would just bring a photocopy of his birth certificate, just in case you do need it.

You probably won't get questioned but you could bring just a copy of his birth certificate, not the original.

I agree with the others :) bring a photocopy BC just incase, although I havnt heard or had experience with anyone requesting proof. But I have had CMs at the gates question DGD2 who is barely 2. Just as recently as Feb., so it does happen. Caught me off guard, I have to think about how many months she is. :goodvibes heck I can't remember how old most of my kids are, let alone grandkids :lmao:

I'm sure it is rare, but I got hassled by a CM at the gate and had to request a supervisor. DD has always been big for her age, but she wasn't even 2 yet. The supervisor apologized for the CMs behavior and let us in. It only happened that one time and we probably went 20 times when she was between 13 months and 3 years old.
