Age of your average DISer?

Just last month, I celebrated the 36th anniversary of my 25th birthday. In my head I'm still 25. My calendar says I'm 61.

And I'm inordinately fond of metal, and the rather unique sound of Corvus Corax. (They're actually an early music band from Germany, who have way too much fun.) Yeah, I know, this isn't a music poll, but it's been brought up more than once. If enough people decide to become Corvus Corax fans, maybe their CDs won't be so scary expensive!

I am old...hahaha...I look at some of the ages here and think...MY kids are their age...heck a few are my granddaughter and grandsons age...I have two old grandkids and two young'uns

I am 63 and although I am a big number...I feel young most of the time...I love this site and can relate to most of you people...EXCEPT MUSIC...I still like the Oldies but Goodies channel...

I turned 55 in December. Somehow that still surprises me. I love rock music and concerts and am rarely not in a pair of jeans (NOT mom-jeans). I guess I just forget. :rolleyes1

Why would someone age 55 not wear jeans? Most people in their 50's have worn jeans for years and years. When we were kids, older women didn't wear jeans because they were used to not wearing jeans.

True, it just seems like around here you see lots of high waisted, knit pants with button-up blouses and beauty parlor little-old lady hair-dos on women my age.

I am more the jeans, flip-flop or sneaker, still wear my (dyed it's origanal color to hide the grey) hair shoulder length type.

We live in a small, kinda throw-back type town more like Mayberry.

I remember the original Mickey Mouse Club of the 50's. I was one of the lucky ones who watched Walt Disney climb from a cartoon person to a GREAT animation businessman. It was a fun time to grow up.

Jimminy Cricket - my hero!

I wish each one of you could spend one week back in the 50's simplistic lifestyle. You would LOVE it!! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Pushing the heck out of 64 and I hope to be answering this same question 15 to 20 or more years from now.
