Age limit on kids' menus?

My 15 y.o. son is a very picky eater. He usually just wants the same old stuff from the kids' menus. If we go to restaurants with table service, can he order off the kids' menu? Thanks.

It depends on your server. They will charge him as an adult at all buffet and character meals or any other all-you-care-to-eat locations. If it's an ala carte menu, it shouldn't be a problem. The only problem will be portion size. The kids' meals are portioned generously for the 3-9 crowd or right for an adult with small apetite, but there isn't enough there for a teen boy. I have a soon to be 14 yr. old son, and he'd want 2 kids' meals (at least).

I know EXACTLY how you feel. Disney changed there policy in early July this year and technically kids menu is only available to those under 10. Big blow to us as my DD is also very picky (we visited just after the change) - we did find that in all the sit down restaurants that she was still able to order from the kids menu and still pay child price. However in the buffet restaurants we had to pay full price (for a chicken leg and a tiny slice of pizza) - ah well...

The Fantasmic Dinner Package was also full adult price and there was no way we would pay $40 at the Brown Derby for my DD (definitely wouldn't eat from the adult menu there) - shame really as we love that restaurant. Hopefully the servers would be accommodating with your son, but I think it would depend on the server.
