Age cut off

Actually, Disney doesn't call them Child or Adult tickets. They call them Guest (3-9) and Guest (10+).

I am in the same position of the OP, my DD is 9 but just before we go she will be 10. It never entered my mind to pre-buy since she is 9 now. I look at it that she takes up a seat on any ride like an adult, and is tall enough for any Disney ride.

Now for dining plan we would not even consider getting it as she would never eat that much. For dining there should be a Junior plan, and a senior plan. You know kind of like Alpo :lmao: My DM is joining us and she is in her late sixties and would never eat $ 40.00 worth of food a day either.

Everytime I book with Disney they verify the kids' birthdates - so once you are in their system they already know and will charge you accordingly.
