My son is 10 years old and He looks 10 years old. He eats like a 5 year old though. Will he be cahred as an adult at the buffets. We have Donlds. Brek., Liberty tree tavern and Crystal palace scheduled for our trip. We are on the meal plan and I did pay for him as an adult but if I could pay for his meal as a child and use the adult credit so his father and I can get a signature meal that would be great.

THANKS!!!!

Oops! I'm sorry if I sounded snippy. I thought this was going to be another one of those "cheat the system" threads. Carry on...

My 10 yr old son was charged a child's rate at Donald's, but I didn't notice until we were gone and I was looking at the reciept so I don't know if we were undercharged because they thought he was younger (he's very small for his age, we had to have a discussion with a CM at Epcot who thought he was too young to be using a ticket with biometric scan). It may be 3-11 is kids rate there. :confused3 My 7 yr old ate ONE Krispy Kreme and half a glass of milk so I don't think we cheated Disney one bit even if they should have charged us more for my son. If they had asked we'd have told his age. I think it's probably 3-11 though, that seemed to be the norm.

I think that 3-11, is the norm, however I did notice that the Garden Grill is 3-9, with 10 being the adult price now.

I wonder if the adult price is lowering to 10. It could be the case, since the meal plan price for an adult is 10. Just a thought.

Under 3s aren't charged, though, right? DD22mos. can sometimes eat me under the table :rotfl: but she's still little...

My son is 10 as well.... and I am paying the $35 for his meal plan.

BUT>> for 'Ohana and Chef Mickeys the child's all you can eat is from ages 3-11. I am paying cash for these meals, and getting another dinner from our meal plan.

THe only issue, is at the sit down meals, if he has a kids meal, he will still use a TS credit, unless I pay cash.
