:)I realized a lot of people don't know this exists!:scared1: and I wanted to post the pictures of our visit (me and my DD's, 4/09) so that people can see how wonderful it is!:cloud9: It is a must do for me and my girls and we are going with MyDM in November and cannot wait! So hopefully my pics and captions will encourage more mom's, gandmom's, aunts, WHOEVER to give it a try and fall in love with the experience as we have:goodvibes I apologize in advance for not having a photo of the scone course...they were so yummy I didn't realize till I was done that I forgot to get a pic of them! They say you eat with your eyes first, so here goes...;)

We love this place.
The cheese platter is delicious. This is our must-do place.

Your guys should have gone.
I always take my guys and we have a wonderful time!
It is the one place where I really FEEL like i'm relaxed and on vacation!

We did this for the first time on our trip two weeks ago. My daughter and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for your review.

My guys are "manly" men :lmao: They wouldn't be caught dead in there! My DS prefers to walk the pool and check out the girls! DH, obviously, likes to get in his nap!

It really is such a great bonding time with your girls:goodvibes

Thank you for taking photos and posting. I didn't even know about this until I started reading the Dis. What tea service did you get? Did you find it to be too much food?

Thanks for the great pics...

We took my 7 year-old twin nieces there in fall of '08 and they (OK, I admit, we... ;) ) absolutely loved it...

It's a beautiful setting, and a lovely way to spend a lazy afternoon.

More people should try it...

Myself and DD14 got the Buckingham Tea. It comes with your choice of tea, tea sandwiches(5 different kinds, which you can substitute), one scone with Devonshire creme and jam, and 2 desserts (our server gave us 3;) to choose since it was our 1st tea) or strawberries and cream. $19.50PP

DD7 had Mrs. Potts tea. It comes with any tea or "magical tea" (chocolate milk in a tea pot), tea sandwiches (3 different ones, which again you can substitute), and 2 desserts or strawberries and cream. $10.50

Perfect light lunch which I feel is definately a GREAT value for your $!:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info...I am going to try to take my daughter in January. She loves going to American Girl for tea, so I think she would enjoy this too!!

Thank you for posting this!!! I was unaware of "Mrs. Potts Tea Party" (for afternoon tea). Years ago I took DGDs to the "My Disney Girl’s Perfectly Princess Tea Party", but it is soooo expensive now...I can't justify the cost. This is a nice alternative. Again, thanks!:goodvibes

it is such a gem!

and I do hate that it is getting so popular!! DD prefers this over CRT!! (well she is 13!)

Just thought I'd add - our first time dd really wanted to try tea- but had to go to the Mrs Potts (much thanks to the observant CM who asked! :goodvibes) she then spent the next year trying teas to "ready" herself for our next trip!! :cloud9:

and she loved darjelling tea - it wasnt on the menu!! Her face was priceless - the CM came over, and asked her what her wish is, she looked up and said "darjeeling tea" The CM said, "we can do that" and they DID!! :wizard: She also said she preferred ham and cheese sandwiches - again "we can do that" :wizard:

we love this place!!

and our first visit - dh was a lobby waiter - then I told him what he missed - he was there for our tea visit! We really enjoyed it!!

they do have something for everyone!!

This is our must do for every trip. It is getting harder to book so I guess the secret is out.

My boys wouldn't miss it for the world.
