Hi! I'm looking for a good spot for my extended family (which includes three teenagers and two preschoolers) to spend a Sunday afternoon in Disney World. It has to be on property as we won't have a car. I'd like a place the adults can hang out (like at a restaurant/bar) while the kids play (like in a nearby pool, playgroud, or other nearby activity). I don't want the kids to get bored, but I want to have time to talk to the grown-ups without the kids having to go far away to enjoy themselves. The teens will be watching the preschoolers, but I want them all to have fun. I'd like to stay in one place for the whole afternoon (there will be 11 people total).

Any suggestions? I've been reading a lot but it is hard to judge the locations when I've never been there and we'll have such a big age-diverse group.

Experts, please help!
Thanks!!

Megan

...staying at the Pop Century. I was thinking about Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. But we'll go anywhere in the World - it doesn't matter where. I'm more interested in a place we can go and stay put for an afternoon than I'm concerned about the actual park.

The water parks would be good and Disney Quest might be another option. Since you are staying at Pop you might want to plan to just spend the afternoon at the resort. The kids can swim, play in the pop jet area, the arcade. The adults can sit by the pool or pool bar and the kds would never be far away.
