Afternoon/early evening WWOHP??

Hey everyone,

Total newbie here. I've enjoyed reading all the tips over the last couple of weeks, very helpful.

My husband and I are planning to visit IOA/US on Wednesday/Thursday of next week. I like most visitors am a huge HP fan and am debating a strategy.

Our plane doesn't arrive until Tuesday night, so I was wondering if we slept in on Wednesday and then headed to IOA/HP in the early afternoon, would the crowds have thinned out enough? I know a lot of people rush for HP when the park opens.

I'm worried about the return time tickets, I would hate to miss seeing HP since that's one of the main reasons for going to IOA. I'd also love to see Hogsmeade at night.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

When I was there in January (which is supposed to be a very quiet time) there were queues of about 2 hours just to get into WWoHP. This was during the morning and was the same a times that I tried to go in. In the end I went about an hour before the park was due to close and walked straight into WWoHP and straight onto FJ. So I think your strategy will work fine.
