Afternoon at Epcot - Strategy Needed

My DH, 4 yo DD, 9 yo DD, and I will be at WDW 6/10-6/17. We to spend two full days at Epcot during the week, but are thinking we should visit Epcot the first half day as well.

We should be arriving at Epcot by about 1 pm. I was thinking about covering much of Future World that day. Will all the Fast Passes be gone by then? Will the crowds be unmangeable at that time of day?

Since we will return later in the week before park opening, we will hopefully be able to catch the bigger attractions first thing in the morning.

What attractions should we reasonably expect to do the first day? I expect that we would stay until 7 or 8 pm and have a counter service meal for dinner.

I would think you will be able to get around futureworld in the 6 or so hours you will be there. Early June shouldn't be too busy as most states won't be out of school yet. I would go get FP for Soarin' first, then do Test Track and Mission Space. Epcot is our most favorite park ever!!

I would get a fastpass for Mission Space, Soarin' or Test Track and then do some of the other attractions while waiting for your fastpass time. Spaceship Earth usually has shorter lines later in the afternoon. Ellen's Energy Adventure, Cranium Command(if its open), Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and Living with the Seas are usually good bets in the afternoon.

We always check in around 10:00 or 11:00 the morning we arrive and head to Epcot after lunch and usually have no problem doing most of the attractions in Future World....and manage to also get some time in the World Showcase. Epcot is the best park for an afternoon visit since it handles crowds so well.

if you are at the living seas, be sure and see Turtle Talk! You'll have to stand in line to wait for the next show, but it is worth it.
