Afternoon alone at Disney

I have been to Disney five times with family. Now I will have three afternoons and evenings in the park alone while at a conference. I have after 2PM tickets without park hoppers. I like rides, shows, all things Disney. Timing is early November. What would you do?

I would do a Dinner at Epcot, but would avoid Food and Wine kiosks because they are really busy in the evenings. Would definitely want to do Animal Kingdom after Dark with Rivers of Light and an evening at Magic Kingdom to see Wishes and MSEP. Those would be the three parks I would choose. I would do ADR's at MK and AK because they have more limited choices for Dinner or simply do Counter Service everywhere. I wouldn't do Dinner at the hotel restaurants as they would take Park time away.

This sounds cliché, but think of what you like to do at the parks and go do it! I have never been on a solo trip before, but I have explored the parks on my own for a few afternoons/evenings when the rest of my party was ready for a break. The beauty of going alone is being able to go where you want, when you want. And trust me, there are few things that you have done as a group that cannot be done on your own.

I also agree with just go with the flow. Book fast passes for the rides you have to do. I would not do ADRs, it may slow or interrupt your flow. One of things I liked when I had "solo" time is I could eat whenever and whatever I wanted. If I wanted ice cream, I got it and I pushed lunch/diner off for a little bit longer.

I would do two days at Mk and one at Epcot, unless you really like AK or DHS. I would not do any TS meals as they take up so much time and since you have limited park time, I would maximize that. Get FPs for any rides that are must do for you that might have long lines. Then just enjoy yourself! I would love to have a few days to leisurely explore the parks!

Hi, not sure what days in early November you'll be there, but if our trips overlap and you'd like any company at some point, I'd be glad to meet up in one of the parks for dinner and/or some rides. If you'd rather be solo the whole time, I understand.

one of my favorite things alone is AK. i take my time and look at all the animals at my own pace but there are also some great rides i love (EE & Dinosaur). Its also a wonderful park to take pictures if that is your thing with all the animals and such.

There are a few rides with single rider lines such as expedition everest and test trak. So you might feel less alone in the single rider lines.
The other thing I would add is what are the attractions or restaurants that you really like that other members of your family don't like or aren't tall enough for? Being alone would be the prefect chance to get in those things you like that the rest of your usual party is less keen on.

Yes do it. Is is so enjoyable to walk alone and navigate crowds without the worry is all your family together. It is so easy for 1 to get a seat at a show. You can shop and eat whatever you want without children there with their lists of wants. As you can tell I have so much enjoyed my alone times.

I just spent maybe 2 hours alone at MK one evening during our last trip (Stayed at Contemporary so an easy walk). It was just amazing how much quicker I was able to move by myself!

I just got back from a solo 5 day trip. Never got bored. Seating 1 anywhere is so easy. Even got a front row seat at Fantasmic (didn't use a fast pass either)

I would use that time to set up the camera shots I have always wanted to do but never got the chance because I did not want to take up too much time. I'd wander through World Showcase and Hollywood Studios shooting away at obscure things.

At least some time at Epcot for Food&Wine and don't forget the Eat to the Beat concert series. When in Epcot in the evenings, stroll over to Board Walk and catch some shows on the 'boards. Actually, as you can see below, we're F&W junkies who stay at the BW almost exclusively so if I had your tix and schedule it would be all Epcot area. Illuminations!

I would do two MK days with FP+ for Splash, BTMRR and HM one day and Space, Buzz and SDMT the other. Dinner at Casey's one night and dinner at Cosmic Ray's one night. The other night would be DHS with FP+ for ToT, TSMM and Star Tours hopefully with single rider for RNRR thrown in. That night I would go to Olivia's at OKW to have dinner (if the park wasn't open too late) A Turtle Krawl starter, onion ring app, scallop dinner and another Turtle Krawl for dessert.
