After what has been going on with our upcoming election I try feel the need for a Disney World vacation soon so I can turn off the TV's and just enjoy some rest and relaxatiom at the parks and hotels. This is no political stand--just a need to get away from it all. What do you guys feel?(without taking sides please)

What do I feel about what?
Your Disney trip or the election?
I feel a Disney World trip is always a great idea and when I don't want to see election related things I simply turn away from the places I typically see it.

I think a Disney Trip is a good getaway. If you wan tto use the election as a reason to plan one, I figure it is as good a reason as any I can think of.

I actually booked mine. I decided that the commercials were too much and decided to run away to wdw for the week leading into the election.

One thing that I do when i'm on vacation is not to watch TV. I'll also only check the news once a day on my tablet. I call it a near divorce from the world and it does make for a much happier vacation!

I agree! When I'm at WDW, I usually find that I'm too busy spending time in the parks to pay much attention to what's happening in the outside world and when I get back at night, I'm usually tired enough that I just crash.
