After spring break....

We will be arriving April 14th - this will be the first time we will be at the parks where they don't stay open late - like 10 or 11pm - we normally go closer to Easter... anyway my question is that since the parks will be closing earlier - like 9pm for MK - does that mean the crowds should be alot less too? I am really worried about the long wait times?

I think April is going to be a great month to go. Especially after the 1st week is over. Spring Breaks are done, Easter is in March, I think it will be like Early May. People aren't going to pull their kids out of school in april and May.

That week is Spring Break for a lot of us on the east coast - we will be arriving shortly after you, doing one day at the Polynesian, 4 nights on the Wonder and then 3 nights at the BWI. We were there the same time last year and the crowds weren't *too* bad - lots of us New Englanders in the crowds. The weather was GREAT!

Yes, I think that is Spring Break for most of NY. At least it is for all of the schools around here.

Our Spring break for central NY state is April 18-22
We are going the week after since we don't have kids. We are hoping for lower crowds we'll see.

MrsJ Henry.........that's what we are thinking about doing next year. We homeschool, so we can go after the breaks. I wonder though if this year is going to be busier because of the May 1st celebration. We'll see. You'll have to let us know when you get back.

Western NY is also the week of 4/18 - 4/22. I wouldn't count on SB crowds being gone til May this year.
