After See and Sea

We are going on the See and Sea excursion in St Martin, after we return to the ship, are there any beaches we can walk to? Or take a cab? What did you do after See and Sea?

After the sea and see they will either drop you off in Philipsburg or at the ship. Great Bay beach is right there in Philipsburg. So you could get off there, do some shopping and go to that beach. If you return to the ship, you can take the water taxi back to town/beach for $5 adults, kids free. Cabs are available at the dock too which can take you to another beach as well.

Our tour stopped in Marigot first then the semi-sub but some tours go the other way. You could probably stay in Marigot and check out the french side beaches if that was your last stop then just catch a taxi back to the ship.

We just checked out the few shops at the pier after our tour then enjoyed a Heineken on our verandah while our DD napped.

We had the driver drop us in p'burg - then took the water taxi back to the ship to drop off our purchases, and then it was back on the water taxi to hang out at the beach for a little while, tossing back a couple of heinekens!

We also did the Sea and See and were dropped back at the ship around lunchtime. We went onboard and had lunch and let our son swim alittle to cool off. We then checked him into the Oceaneer's Club and then we took the water taxi over to the shopping. It's $5 for adults and you can ride back and forth all day. Great Bay beach is right there also and it looks to be fun if everyone in your party is up for more sun. St. Maarten had the bluest water I've ever seen.
