After Hours

We went to After Hours at Magic Kingdom last night. It was incredible! We arrived a little after 7pm. Everyone was lining up for fireworks. Watched fireworks then braved the outgoing crowds to head to Adventure Land and started with Jungle Cruise. Worked our way from one end of the park to the other. Longest was was about 15 minutes for Peter Pan Flight. Rode Space Mountain twice. Almost everything was walk on! The park was literally abandon in comparison of the day time crowds. Free ice creams and soda and popcorn! Lots of great pics taken! Totally going to do this again!

Sounds like an incredible experience! We are going in March- so excited! We’ve done a paid early morning event once back when the had it, but never the night one!

Not looking likely. Disney has added Epcot & Typhoon Lagoon & extended Studios until the end of June. Nothing new at MK, at least as of today’s announcement.

I'm still hoping they are planning a switch to Villains After Hours for the late spring/summer and are still ironing out some details for that announcement.

There's still a chance. I noticed Epcot after hours is mostly Thursdays and Typhoon is mostly Saturdays.

The current after hours at MK is mostly Mondays and Hollywood is mostly Wednesdays (now through the end of June).

I feel the door is still open to extend MK into the summer. The only thing that may hold it back is the opening of Tron, which means selling more lightning lanes for people who want to ride it at night.

Boo! Sadly EPCOT is only in June, but DHS is available for me. Think it would be worth it? I really want MK, but one would be better than nothing….

The H2O Glow Party might be the single best event we have ever been to at Disney. Low crowds, no need for sunscreen, and temps still plenty warm enough to make the water refreshing.
