After Hours Party

Trying to choose between an AK party on a Monday or MK party on a Thursday, which would you suggest?
We haven’t been since 2012, we did the MNSSHP that year.
We only have 1 week with 5 park days.
2 adults & 4 (over the age of 18) children,

So, 6 adults. The choice depends on which park you want to be in. After hours events really aren’t parties. They are strictly about rides. There are no parades or special shows, etc. You ride & get snacks. I would figure out which park had more rides your group would like & do that park.

I tried to say 6 adults & just couldn’t. They’re all still living at home and getting another trip to Disney on Mom & Dad. Everyone talks about the teenage years ... nobody prepares you for the young adult years

My advice mirrors @focusondisney - it’s really more about which park you prefer/want to spend more time in.

MK DAH certainly has more “bang for your buck” in terms of rides compared to DAK DAH, if that factors into your thinking. But DAK is beautiful at night and you can cover things like FOP, for example, if you had trouble getting a FP for it (assuming that’s a ride everyone wants to do).

MK DAH typically draws more guests than DAK DAH.

Hard to go wrong as it really comes down to personal preference. Whatever you decide, have fun!

Thank you so much. Honestly it’s been so long since our trips that I just remember loving all the parks. I really did realize MK has more to offer ride wise but then keep feeling torn with how beautiful AK at night would be. Guess it seems we can’t go wrong with either!

I always feel weird mentioning this part as of course not everyone drinks - but if so inclined - one thing to remember is that DAK has a few bars/options to get a beverage open during DAH. MK doesn’t.

I wouldn’t decide on one over the other solely due to that fact, just a small difference between the two.
