After hours event selling out?

I am looking to go to an after hours event at Hollywood studios sometime early next year. I’m tentatively looking at the February and March dates, but I am not sure yet which date I will attend.

I’ve never done an after hours event before. How likely is it that they sell out? And when should I be looking to purchase those tickets?

All after hours will sell out eventually. Usually Magic Kingdom sells out way before Hollywood Studios.
We were there this past June and couldn't decide between HS on 6/26 or MK on 6/27. We ended up going with MK on 6/27. We bought our tickets in March. By June it was sold out, but HS was still available. I never checked after that.

You probably have a while to decide before your possible date sell out, but you should buy your tickets as soon as you know when you're going.

We are also planning on doing After Hours at DHS the first week of March. We are also concerned about when/if it will sell out. Have a couple of guests in our party that may or may not go. Our ADR day is New Years Eve. We will probably try to purchase that date.

I plan to go to the first HS event which is January 22. I should just just buy the tickets but we haven’t booked our flights yet and it would be on arrival night. I really hope they don’t sell out!

I've bought tickets for the MK party on our arrival night (27 Jan). I'm conservatively estimating we'll be at the Poly by 7pm, so hopefully there aren't any major delays that cause us to miss any of the party! I was worried about it selling out too, so thought it was worth the risk.
