We are planning on visiting Disneyland on from September 1st-5th. I realize Labor day will be crowded but I am hoping the rest of the week will be more tame as kids are going back to school.

Normally we go during slow times in October or February so I am curious what we should expect.

I would expect relatively light crowds during that period, not including Labor Day itself. The weekdays are generally pretty calm because kids are in school and folks have to work. There is no special events or seasonal overlays, yet, so I think a good number of "locals" will wait until HalloweenTime starts before heading to DLR.

In terms of comparison, I think it depends on when in October you've normally gone. If you went during CHOC walk or Gay Days, then crowds will be much lighter than those periods.

Last year we went the week after gay days and it was only really crowded during the Holiday party.

What you consider crowds and what I consider crowds could be different things. You know?

We went the day after 4th of July and the day after Christmas in 2012 and I thought both crowd levels were fine. I was told to expect way worse and I must have gone overboard!

I think being patient and flexible are key.
