Should I be expecting anything in the mail? I booked with DU as opposed to DCL because they were so nice and prompt, but I have no idea how this works! All I know is that the rest of the money is due 60 days before sailing but I wonder if I should receive a hard copy in the mail stating this?

I have booked three cruises wtih DU in the past and never received anything in the mail after making the intial deposit.

Only items we have ever received in the mail were the excursion information booklets and the cruise documents. These were received after making the final payment.

After I put in my deposit I received an invoice that showed the itinerary, dates, cabin number, resort, etc. Of course the invoice also showed the remaining balance!

Your proof of your reservation is on their site. If you go to client services and type in your id# and password, it will bring you to your reservation. Print that as your proof. I also called DCL to verify they had my reservation in their system, and they confirmed everything for me.
