After cruise, how much time to airport

If one leaves the Magic at a reasonable pace, how quickly could he be at MCO (Orlando Int'l Airport)? (Assumes one hires a towncar service and they are on time).

I apologize WM, but I don't think my post was very clear.

How long would it take to clear the boat, get luggage, get to the loading area and then to MCO (I'm assuming your answer was just from Port Canaveral to MCO--please correct me if I am wrong).

Ah, now I understand. Yes, absolutely you could make a noon flight. They want everyone off the ship by 9:00 which means you're at the airport by 10:00 at the latest, in plenty of time for a noon flight.

Disembarkation on the Disney ships is EASY and FAST, you simply leave whenever you want after the ship has cleared customs (usually by 7:45 am or so).

From what I understand, there have been cases when you are not off by 9am. I just finished a cruise and I'm not sure if the boat was clear by 9am or not. They didn't start unloading until quite late because of a customs problem. I heard that on a recent trip they didn't finish clearing the boat until almost 11am. The problem in both cases was a non-US family not reporting in when they needed to the last morning.

Just make sure you are near the front of the unloading line. That might mean taking advantage of the continental breakfast instead of the sit down breakfast. If you do that then you should be ok.

we were on the 10/27 wonder and had an 11:30 flight home. We made it to the airport with over an hour to spare. No rushing either. You should have no problem with a 12 flight. Have a wonderful time.
