after christmas shopping @ parks

Friend said that christmas merchandise in the park is 50% off Dec.26 and 75% off Jan.1, is this true?

I was there last year and we didn't see anything on sale. I'm a true bargin shopper, so I looked hard!!

Not last year but the year before we went to WDW the week after Christmas. All merchandise dated for that year was on sale. I am not sure if I saw anything 75%but I did see 50% off.

every year all the x-mas stuff is 50% the day after x-mas. Even as late as New Year's they still have the sales, but I have never seen it go to 75%. I think whatever is left over goes to Company D store for the cast members only. If you know one they can take you with them, but they are the only one's who can make purchases there (with cast ID). They get the 75% stuff usually.

This past May I bought a Osborne Christmas 2002 Sweatshirt for $12.99,and long sleeved red turtleneck with Santa Mickey embroidered on it for $8.99 at the Character Premier outlet.
I don't think they discount stuff in the parks much anymore since they opened the outlet stores, they simply put it aside to sell there off season.
I make a point of checking out the outlet stores every time I go to the parks. I bought my summer pj's last January and my winter stuff in July. Just hope I don't gain any weight, nothing will fit. Peggie

Last time we were there we noticed that most of the sales took place closer to New Year's. There are some items in the parks, but the bulk of them go to the outlets
