We've been going the of August for since 2003.
The crowds have always been very manageablr,
It seems everyone is from the Northeast or England.
They also go back in September.

We go 8/25-9/2. We are staying at WL with AAA discount but here's hoping for an AP rate!

Just subscribing to this thread! We're there 8/25 - 9/3. We need something for 9/1-9/3! Were hoping for AKL but w/out codes will probably not do that!

Oh, and for those staying at OKW you are going to be very happy! It is a beautiful resort. My favorite things about it are...

1. The pool area rocks!
2. The Gurgling Suitcase...THE BEST pool bar on WDW property!!
3. The grounds are lovely!!!
4. The rooms are BIG!

Just subscribing and hoping for something to come out.

We're going for a quick trip for my birthday 8/24 - 8/26 and the best I could get was AAA at Pop for $94/night and that's a standard, not even a preferred room. The CM I spoke with this morning said no rates out for AP or FL residents yet. And Pop preferred AAA is at $105/night! How is that a "value??"

The CM I spoke with today told me she didn't expect any AP rates until October / November. She also wouldn't let me make two reservations for the same time period, even though I was going to give her one night's deposit for each reservation. We have done this in the past, but apparently this must be a new policy. We're trying a deluxe room at the BC in August (for which we were hoping to get an AP rate). We're hoping to return in Dec to either the BC or GF. I wanted to secure a room at each with the AAA rate before that rate is all sold out, but was not allowed to. (We're going to see how we like the BC deluxe room in August before we make our final decision.) Has anyone else run into this problem?

If they had limited AP codes for July up to 5th Aug, when the occupation levels are still high, there may well be some more for after then esp as it is hurricane season and the occpancy still appears to be quiet low at that point in time, esp furter into aug and towards sept, but they may be very limited.

Howeve,r netier the CM's not us will really know for some time.

Hopping on the bus; hope they don't skip any month.

We gave up on June a month ago (good thing too) and booked partially offsite.

Now we need 10/12 & 13th; booked @ CR, @ least we have a AAA rate. Couldn't believe there were none available close to 6 months out for June 23 & 24th.

Think it's safe to assume that AP/other misc. codes won't be released until much closer to actual dates of arrival (i.e. a month or so?).

My feeling is there will be codes but not until the free dining offer is over. That's June 4th. So maybe after that. I booked free dining but I'll keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you.

I agree, but also think we need to be on the ball as we were given so many different dates from cms in the other thread.

I am hoping for one but not expecting .

I noticed most are looking for codes for after August 5th...but wondered will this include codes for the fall..say through October?...Does Disney generally offer codes for that time period. We currently are thinking of going on the 14 of October..have reservations at FW..but looking to get a room at the WL for my mom and a couple of my kids that will be flying down with her. Have not traveled this time of year before..usually May or have done Auguust for years(hot!). Heard October is really nice and comfortable...wondered about discounts offered at that time of year. We currently have a AAA rate at the campground..but looking for something better at the Lodge. Thanks for your help.
