Where should we eat? WE plan on getting to DHS early and staying until about 3 or so. I'm not a huge fan of any of the places in DIS so i don't think we want to hang out there. Right now I have an ADR at wolfgang puck cafe but it is a late lunch one- 3:45 which is a little earlier than i think i want to commit to. Where would you suggest? are there any places I can take the boats to from the park directly?

Your question is confusing. It sounds like you do not want to eat anywhere at Disney. What do you mean?

I am talking about Disney Studios- I am sorry i thought they were going by DIS now. The old MGM of Hollywood studios is where we didn't want to eat.

How about going to Boardwalk and eating at ESPN or take the boat the rest of the way to EPCOT and eat at one of their CS there......you would take the boat and go thru the security and then over to Rose and Crown CS or go to Morocco or any of the others..
I think (read think here) you are talking about CS places?? Or sit down restaurants??

The new acronym is DHS For Disney Hollywood Studios. It's so hard keeping them all straight, I totally understand!

(I changed the title for you, but you may want to go back and clear up your original post so you get more/better answers. :goodvibes

thanks for changing the name for me. Actually that day we are up for anything. We have planned wolfgang puck cafe so i was originally thinking tableservice.
So the boats got from DHS to boardwalk (can you tell we don't ever spend a lot of time at that park- it is my least favorite)- maybe that would be a great idea. Thank you

I also vote to take the boat from DHS (or walk over if you don't mind a leisurly walk - will take about 20 min.) to The Boardwalk. There's everything from the casual ESPN to the middle-of-the-road Big River Grille to the fancy Flying Fish. Spoodles, Boardwalk Bakery & a few more are in between as well! You could also eat at any of the restaraunts in that area at The Swan, The Dolphin, The Boardwalk, Yacht Club or Beach Club as well.

Keep in mind the entertainment (street performers) usually doesn't start until dark on The Boardwalk, so it may seem a little dead prior to that. There's a really nice store there (it's huge) an arcade, etc. Depending on how late you stay, you can watch Illuminations at Epcot from The Boardwalk as well. Or you could resort hop & check out some new places to stay!

I would take a boat over the the Boardwalk. You have quite a few choices. I like spoodles myself. ;)

How about going to Boardwalk and eating at ESPN?

We are doing this on our DHS day, like the OP said, we too are not too fond of the food choices that DHS has to offer. We did enjoy 50's Prime Time the last time we were at DHS, but we are just not in the mood for it this time. So when we are done with DHS we plan on hopping on a boat and going over to ESPN, which is my DH's favorite restaurant and the kids love to watch all the TVs. They have the best chili/cheese hotdog so I will be getting one of those when we go :cool1:

You could eat at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. We ate there twice in Sept. and really enjoyed it. Good food, large servings.
