COLUMBIA (Celebration location)

We headed over to Celebration for dinner and tried Columbia
After hearing so much about the bread pudding, plus we never ate
over there.

Made fresh table side the 1905 salad was impeccable.
I could eat it every day. unless they ran out of salad since I was
eating it so much, then I would be sad.

Excellently coated and fried breast pounded thin.
loved the sauce on the chicken, outstanding.
great citrus flavor and the rice & veggies accompanied perfectly.

but the bread pudding was one of the best bread puddings we've had.
Nothing short of incredible including the wonderful staff and dining room.

Great thing is you don't have to travel to Columbia to go to Columbia.....

CENTERTOWN MARKET (Caribbean Beach Resort)

A good new find that we tried since we were at Riviera for 8 nights.
We like to walk around the property so we wanted to branch out and
try some of the quick serve over there and boy are we glad we did.


Not bad and I liked the potatoes. Should have come with a bread.

I forgot to put the container of berries in the pic and it added a nice flavor
to basic flappy jackies. Riviera's are better.


The mix grill platter was exceptional. All of it was perfect.
We got it twice since it was that good and very shareable and
shocked how cheap it was for Disney prices and for the amount you got.

Liked it so much we got it twice. They need to sell the yucca fries on the side.


Good light change up and packed with the fishies. Sorry Charlie.
Mac & Cheese very reminiscent to Liberty Tree Tavern and that is a great thing.


Good beefy burger baby. More mac & cheese cause why not. Fries get tiring after a while
need to have more side choices Disney.


WOW-WE-WOW-WE. I said it, now get it.....

Whenever we stay at Riviera we will certainly be eating here again and again.

We are returning to Riviera in Feb. and I'm hoping the crowds will die down/return to pre-pandemic normalness. 2022 was just INSANE and not in a good way. I also hope that they keep those cookies for when we're there.

I agree with you on Gideon. I've tried it 2x now. Don't really get the cookies (Levain Bakery in NYC is my fave!) and the cake slices are eh - too much frosting as you mentioned. I have some new restaurants to add to my list. Thanks for the suggestions - will have to check out the JW. Have you been to Bull & Bear at the Waldorf Astoria? Highly recommend if you haven't.

I might do just a 1 or 2 day park pass (I know - blasphemy), which means I'll spend more time walking around RR. Thanks for convincing me to ride over to Pop and also check out CBR. The food from their food courts look amazing! And Sebastian's - I gotta get there.

Levain are LEAPS better, we keep them in the freezer, I find them in the freezer section in some stores around me.
Close to NYC fresh which I first had years ago.
We keep putting off Bull & bear, one day. Its not a money thing but I hate the idea of dressing up and it being a long meal.

BOATHOUSE

Boathouse is always a top favorite of ours and this time is no different.
Always amazing servers and food.
We had lunch with our favorite YouTube Disney vloggers: Traveling around Disney.
Our lunch meet up was almost 3 hours and it was FANTASTIC. Great people Michelle & Todd.


gotta slather silky smooth butter to make them even glossier.
So amazing.

They split it in the kitchen for me and the wife and love they
always do that for you. Great fresh salad and wonderful dressing.


Coconut on shrimp, some wizard had to invent that years ago.
not sure how, unless they were hallucinating that a shrimp pitched
them a coconut and WALLAH! coconut roaches of the sea,
always perfectly scrumptious.


wife's meal, but she always shares and cut me a piece. Love it
as she did. It's her go to here. I see why


my go to, since I adore burgers all my life. I can not stray from such
a fine specimen of meaty bliss. Just wished they brought back
the gibson burger, that was my favorite. As always, impeccable fries.
( don't worry, not shown a large bowl of PICKLES, ya'll thought I was slacking)
Yup at them ALL.


Our new friends Todd & Michelle and the glory that is the mother of
all desserts. We split the macadamia ice cream nut pie with
them and they loved it as well.

bow your head in it's presence. Stare at the glistening glory of sugary
caramel & fudge. Best vanilla ice cream I ever had. Love the perfect
crunch of the roasted macadamias. so much goodness in one plate
should be admired and ingested...in that order.

Also as amazing is the chocolate layer cake, but not this time

from January's trip. we always get this when staying at Saratoga to keep
in the room for a few days of morning cake breakkie nibbles.
Stays perfect for the 2-3 days it lasts.
See you in May my chocolate lover.....

the tree of life, we ate inside this time. Big mistake. SO NOISY.
Wish we ate outside again. At least the food still good. and service was as well.
even though our server asked if we wanted to "pop a squat" ?
which sounded odd and unsure what the heck it meant.


wife wanted to try it so here it is. not bad, but I am not
a drinker.


crispy & crunchy. great flavors and sauce.


always dug them and its still tasty, albeit very overpriced.


yup more shrimps and these also were good, skimpy serving compared to
last time.

We're gonna Yak & Yeti a break for a while.....
