After 7 Trips We're Finally Staying At the BC! May 2012 PTR: New TR Started!

LOVE all of the updates!! Oh my goodness it's almost here!!!

I am SO ready to go, too!! And a big YAY for knowing you will be going back again next year! Is it in the summer, too? Will we be writing PTRs again at the same time??

Usually family watches my doggie, but since we are all going down this time she'll have to stay at the vet. She did three years ago too. I should make it home before she needs to be there on Friday, but have asked my mom to do it for me. Taking her to get her kennel cough shots was hard enough on me to think about having to leave her. . .I'm a sucker. I'll have to toughen up before being a mom to a human

Aw, I completely understand the sadness over leaving your dog. I've always left my puppy with either my parents or my in-laws, and it still makes me incredibly sad! It's the one downside to a WDW vacation.

Hope you get all those last minute To-Do's finished quickly so you can concentrate on how close your trip is!

Have a WONDERFUL trip!!!!! Sorry about saying goodbye to doggie I actually didnt miss ours til later on in the trip - it was so nice to make food without dog underfoot and have to walk out of the house with dog fur on my clothes all the time. LOL Near the end though I sure missed him and had to hug him and kiss his fuzzy face lots when I got home. They will take good care of your doggie though so HAVE FUN!!!!

Several years ago, my sister and I began keeping each other's dogs when the other would leave town. (She leaves about 45 minutes from me.) It works really well for us, because we know they're in a home with a family and their "cousin" dog!

Sounds as if your doggie is going to get some serious pooch pampering!

Disney Night #18 - Beach Club Night

Our last Disney night. I can't believe I've done 18 of these. I'm just glad that in a couple of days I get to kick back and relax while someone cooks my food for me!

Awww, the dreaded doggie hotel! We used to hate dropping the dogs off at the vet to board, but then we found a great doggie hotel that has a big yard with lots of shade and they love it! When we used to pick them up, they would sleep for hours because they had been so stressed at the vet, but now, they get so excited to go see their friends at the hotel.

Your week sounds like my week! We had to get our tags since they expire while we are on vacation and then the tire on my car (the one we take to WDW) kept losing pressure and DH thought that he saw a hole on the side of it, so we took it in to be replaced. Turns out, it wasn't a hole in the side, but a nail in it, so they just repaired it instead of replacing. Whew! That was a good $400 that can stay in the ol' vacation budget.

We have our one and only Disney dinner tonight, so that means it's almost time to go!!! I can't wait!

All errands done and doggie is doing great! They have video cameras there so I got to watch her play in the pool today. The same thing happened to our van. One of the tires got a nail in it and they had to patch it. Unfortunately, our brakes had to be replaced so we didn't save any money.

I think we'll be heading back about the same time next year. Next time, I'll start my PTR earlier so I don't feel so rushed.

Luckily, our neighbor picked her up so quick that I didn't have a chance to get sad. I've missed her all day today though. She seems to be having fun there though.

She may not want to come back after all the fun she's having. She was running around today with lots of other dogs and even had a swimming buddy.

Made it to Oakahlah. Our hotel is really nice and even has Wi-fi which means I can spend a little time on the DIS. Plan for tomorrow is to wake up, have a small continental breakfast, and leave here at 8:00. We are exhausted. Went to Chuck E. Cheese and the kids went crazy! Time for bed. Night all!
