....eldest DD (24) is on her way to Bristol uni, with her Dad, to study 'Fine Art'

At least she'd better be on her way.........

She was accepted when she was 19 but went travelling for 3 months and didn't return for 3 years.....

Phil would have been so proud of her
It's something they talked a lot about, when he was well enough, but I knew she wouldn't actually leave, to go away, until he'd died

Way to go Laura, hope you have a great time and, eventually, earn shed loads of money to help support your poor old mum......

Just had a text from her to say she had an evening with her friends and a bottle of gin, last night, so they've only just set off

Needless to say her Dad's not too happy about the long drive, there and back, so late in the day

I'm sure she will have a great time at Uni - my daughter graduated last year and still wishes she was there (reckons she had more money whilst at Uni Maybe because we were funding her then )

She is going to have a great time! My brother went to UWE Uni in bristol and loved it there. He was 21 when he went and just finished last year, hes 26 now. He has stayed in Bristol as he liked it so much
