I never heard of after 4 PM tix for Florida residents when I lived there (2004-2006), only for conference attendees.![]()
I don't know that it would be popular for DVC members. Residents could use it to go to Epcot after work for dinner but why would a non-resident DVC member want it? You're only going to Epcot after 4:00?
I don't see much purpose in that for us. I love my APs and woudn't know how to vacation without them.
I think it could be useful for DVC members. Many members go and stay for weeks vs. days. The trips are more traditional vacations (healthy doses of Rest and Relaxation) than those who come down for 4 or 5 days and spend a day at each park with hardly any time for much else. That said, on those days you choose to spend at the pool, waterpark, non-Disney theme park, etc., it would be nice to affordably enter Epcot for Dinner or a stroll through the Countries with your favorite adult beverage.
I think there used to be an after 4 Epcot annual pass for FL residents. Not sure if it is still available. I don't know that it would be popular for DVC members. Residents could use it to go to Epcot after work for dinner but why would a non-resident DVC member want it? You're only going to Epcot after 4:00?
I agree with this. I would definitely be interested for the right price. We've done APs in the past, but with the kids getting a little older, and fewer bargain airfares to be found, it's more difficult to get our money's worth from the APs. I'm thinking seriously about the 10-day non-expiring tickets for next time.
We renew our AP's.
If you go so often to get an annual pass you wouldn't need anything to eat at Epcot. If you are going to be in WDW so many times that you would love to eat in Epcot 20 times or so, wouldn't you also want to go to another park?
These comments are based on my understanding that these are "Special type of ANNUAL Florida residents passes." They are not 1 use media.

I think if you are the kind of person who doesn't park hop, and doesn't care all that much about Future World, it might be worth it to buy a MYW base ticket and an EPCOT after 4 pass. You can spend your days at one of the other 3 parks with the MYW ticket and then go to EPCOT at night with an after 4 pass. I haven't done the math-maybe it doesn't make sense to buy tickets that way. Either way, it wouldn't work for us now with our kids, but it's always good to have different options.
