After 20 years.....***UPDATE #16***

I start my first college course tonight! I have not been in a classroom in 20 years..keep a good thought for me.....I am nervous and excited.....

Just a side note, my DD-19, took her first quarter in the spring.

She was telling me about the people in the room and she said there was an old lady there. I said, "Really, how old?" She replied, "Oh about 30."

HAHAHA Thanks..I am glad you told me that....in case I happen to overhear any remarks...because I am ancient.......I am 42

I'm a sophomore in college and there are a lot of older people in my lectures. I actually like sitting near them because I find that they actually want to be there. They don't talk/shuffle/move/make noise alllll class!

I'm 40 and I started 2 years ago I've found that there have always been at least a few other "old" people in there with me, and I agree, it's nice, they seem to really want to be there! What are you majoring in?

Good for you! Have fun! I went back after an 11 year absents. It was kinda weird, but I did so much better than I thought I would. I think the older students really put more effort into it and it somehow makes it easier in the long run.

Thanks everyone!! It was great...there were a couple of older faces in addition to mine.

It was a gen ed class and some kids did seem to almost sleep through the class...but I REALLY enjoyed it. The Professor is very passionate about art history...I can't wait until next week!!
