it looks like my mom will be going to the step-down unit!! These past 3 weeks have been such a roller coaster of emotionsl. It was touch and go for her and now she seems to have turned a corner. She has a long, long road ahead. At least 8 more weeks in the hospital, another surgery and then rehab but I have hope and I didn't have that a week ago.
