Just found out my room # and I can't find any room reports on it.
Has anyone had 6118?

I've read that not all verandas are the same and that most aft ones have solid walls so you can't see out if sitting???? That's the whole reason we paid extra for a veranda! :(

How well is this room location for kids? activities?
I'm recovering from a wreck and still a little slow - are the walks to everything going to kill me?

Thanks so much!

We were in 6100 on the Wonder and I really liked the location. The aft elevators aren't very crowed and you are close to the drink station and buffet on deck 9. We had a plexiglass rail, but there are walls between each cabin, so you have to look around to see anyone. The kids area is down one deck on five and you do have to walk abit, they are mid ship. It's nothing like walking around the parks! Nothing was more than 5 minutes away. Once you get the hang of were everything is, it's easy.

Hope this helps.

We were in 6818 - same room, other side of the ship.

Great location - loved it and booked 6118 for the next cruise.

(6118 should have worse port views - particularlly Castaway Cay, but should end up in the all important shade for the lifeboat drill - which is why we moved sides).

Plexi veranda. Right next to the aft stairs - and a quick walk to the restaurants. Not too far from the kids clubs.

Inconvienent to the theatre (the movie theatre is close though), and the adult areas of the ship (which tend to be forward - spa/adult pool).

We had 6118 on the Magic a few months ago and loved the location. We rebooked another cruise and requested the same exact room again. We liked being so close to the elevators and stairs -- a quick trip up a few levels to get to the drink station, Mickey Pool, food, etc... On CC you won't be facing out to the beach, but you will be facing the pier and it's kind of interesting to watch them unload everything in the morning! Plus (and this happened to me!), if you send your family back to the ship before you with your KTTW card, and thus cannot get back on the ship, you can yell up to them from the loading dock so they can bring it down!! :rotfl:

We have 6110 in November...glad to hear you liked that general location....the 9th deck was my kids fav. spot!!!! :woohoo:

We were in 6124 on the Magic and loved the location. If I had to book again, I would book a little further down the hall -- probably in your area.

The walk to the front of the ship is pretty long but I wasn't bothered by it.

...right next door! The room was so nice we booked it twice :goodvibes

You will walk a lot no matter your location but your room will be right next to the AFT elevator so this will eliminate some stairs if that helps.

For us, it was a quick couple of flights up or down to Beach Blanket/pools, etc.

Someone mentioned that the other side had a better port view but I thought WE did! I guess it depends what you want to look at :)

We had the docking view at both Nassau and CC and at CC, you won't want to miss the Mickey goodbye :)
