Aft elevators into Cabanas on Dream

I’ve searched a few other posts about this but I haven’t been able to find my exact answer yet.

I am going on the Dream for the first time and when I was looking at the deck plans I noticed the aft elevators lead straight into the middle of Cabanas. So because of this does that mean you are allowed to walk through Cabanas at all times? On the Magic/Wonder they close off the doors to the buffet when its in between eating times. I know the food will not always be there 24/7 but does that mean one of the drink stations in Cabanas will always be useable? Our room is deck 8 aft and I am just thinking that it might be pretty nice to have to only walk up 2 flights of stairs and have the drink stations right there. I know the outside drink stations aren’t too far off, but the closer the better!

Yes, you can get through Cabanas at any time. It’s kind of awkward and something I hope they fix on the new ships. Last time we were on the drink stations were available.

Yes. You can walk through Cabanas anytime to get to the elevators. They open into a foyer area and you can walk a few steps to go right or left into Cabanas. It's hit or miss on the drink stations in Cabanas. Most of the time we could use them, but there was a time when they were empty.

The drink stations inside Cabanas on the Dream are usually not open when Cabanas is closed. Yes you can walk through Cabanas anytime day or night on your way to the pools, etc. but will have to use the outside drink stations when dining is finished.

We stayed on Deck 8 a month ago and yes it's convenient to the restaurants and pools.

It'll be three flights of stairs, not two (Cabanas and the pool deck are on deck 11; there are staterooms on deck 9 and 10) but yes, you can use the aft elevators any time. As others have noted, if Cabanas is closed, you'll have to walk out to the pool deck to get a drink from the fountain.
