Afscme Union Member Discounts!

Just for fun, I thought I would check to see if there are any discounts!

Unfortunately, my union local doesn't participate in the extra stuff, but maybe someone else's local might!

They do have a discount rate for the Royal hotel at DTD
and I called about the rental car discounts--Avis was about 20 bucks cheaper and Budget was no deal at all!

Which is interesting, since the Royal Plaza has been closd since the hurricanes for a major rehab.

My husband is in that union....works as a corrections officer, but I am not sure if his local union participates. Anyway, I looked into the Hotel, but it is closed until June...so wouldn't work for us since we are going in May.

I did notice they have discounts for Universal and Seaworld, but I am not sure if they would be any better than the deals at this point. I can't find my husband's membership number to check and he is at work right now.
