My 2-year-old LOVES the African village in Epcot!

Did we miss an "entire country" in EPCOT WS?! Just where is this African Village?! :confused3

It is an out post between China and Germany right after you go over the bridge to the left there are a few huts.

If I'm not mistaken they have a guy in that pavillion who plays drums and the kids play along too. It looks fun. :)

There's a little gift shop there and snack stand. There's a picture at Suite Disney. Go to the WDW photo tour section and under Epcot, click on "outpost".

This year at the Food and Wine Festival, there was a pretty elaborate village set up sponsored by Botswana. The original Equatorial Africa Pavilion that was planned originally was dropped when there was no one to pay for it.

Anyone know what they serve at the snack stand??

there is also a very skilled wood carver present throughout the day. His name slips my mind at the moment, but I love hiswork. you can buy it at this stand. I love to watch his process of how he makes his items and the tools he usues, both crude and precices.

The last time we stopped there, they had fruit, pretzels, bottled drinks, and maybe chips.

I assume this is ignoring the fact that Morocco is located in Africa… ;)
