My video camera is small enough to fit in my pocket,can I bring it with me?

The website states "cameras are allowed as long as they can be securely fastened to the vest" - can you do that with yours?
Nothing is allowed in your pockets.

I did this several years ago and a couple of guys brought cameras with HUGE lenses.

If there is a case that they can feed a strap through, you are good to go; basically, any cell phone with a case will be okay, but I would double-check your camera to make sure that there is a spot where a wrist strap could be attached. Have fun- it’s a great tour!

as long as it can be fit into the safety harness vest pocket, they have some straps that can be attached to ensure that you don't lose your phone/cameras
