Clay Aiken is on, Debbie Allen, Debbie Reynolds, Andy Williams, etc...

Watch it now! CBS

Have I missed my boyfriend Clay? :lovestruc

It's funny...I usually expect him to call and REMIND me of these things....slacker....:scratchin

Nope, he's not on yet! But I just saw Hugh Jackman! :faint: :goodvibes

LoL @ Clay spelling it and saying it backwards.

Oh that boy would be so fun in a long car ride to Disney World....lol:lovestruc

***Attention all DISers***

This thread has apparently been Ky-jacked. I will now use it to post to myself. Because obviously no one else could care less.

With that being said:

Memo to self: Buy Clay a potter's wheel next Christmas.

So far I see 5 Disney songs mentioned.....

99-Hakuna Matata
62-Beauty and the Beast:D princess:
47-Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah
36-Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
19-Someday My Prince Will Come

I hope that When You Wish Upon A Star makes it. I really do....

*crosses fingers*

I bet Somewhere Over the Rainbow is a good bet for top 5, too.

I Love this show! Rita Moreno looks great. Loved her in West Side Story.
I am hoping "The Way We Were" makes it into the top 5.

Yup, it will be. They've mentioned the site a couple of times, but I missed it - I think they said it's to be posted at moviefone.com.

I got suckered into this show, and I can't believe I've been watching it for two and a half hours. I wonder if they'll put out a cd collection with all the songs??

*crosses fingers for Wish Upon A Star....but getting my hanky in case it DOES make it, cause THEN the tears will come....*

It was a neat show. I must say that I definitely didn't agree with some of the songs in the top 100, but that didn't surprise me. :rolleyes1

what a great show!!!!!! wouldn't that rock if they released them in a CD set? Too many copyright issues, I'm sure, but would be cool, nonetheless. So many great songs!!!!! It was like going down memory lane, not to mention I now have a huge list of movies I need to see again!!!!!!

Wow....... I never would have watched if I had seen it was THREE HOURS LONG! But once I started..... oh well, who needs sleep anyway! I was commenting to my DH... "I have never been able to really remember my multiplication tables, but I know at least part of the words to almost every song here!! Why is that??" Glad to see so many DIsney songs on there, but since Sound of Music is my favorite movie, I was glad to see several of those songs also!! Glad I watched it but I ended up dreaming about having to audition for a show and not being sure what to sing!:p No more late nights for me!!.........................P

Also, they showed Satine singing "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" after showing a clip of Marilyn singing it first :)

I didn't watch the whole show, just bits and pieces and the whole last hour. Couldn't really argue with the top songs...I mean, how do you beat "Over the Rainbow", "As Time Goes By" from Casablanca, or "Singin' In the Rain" as a top 3 ?

The only slight issue I had was with "White Christmas" as the #4 song. Great song and all, but I didn't even know it was from a movie, so I don't know how it could be considered a great "movie" song. I really thought "Mrs. Robinson" or "Wish Upon a Star" should have taken that spot, but that's just me :teeth:

Fun show, though, and if they would put out a CD collection, I'd buy it in a heartbeat ::yes::
