On another note...

I really don't understand the issue with this thread (or any thread that isnt the big thread). Seriously, why is it a problem? People can pick and choose which thread(s) they wish to visit and for whatever reason works for them. For me personally, along with the overhwleming feeling of the size of that thread the attitudes I seen in it were a bit over the top. Here, at least before the bleeed-over, that feeling wasn't present here. It was just a personal choice to check this thread instead of the other. Thats what people do. No one is making any of you click on this thread or like it or even acknowledge it. If the big thread works for you, great! If a smaller thread works for you, thats fine too.

I have a question. I have 1200 dollars in target gift cards and I have the red debit card from target. Will I get the 5% discount on the total of the purchase or will I only get the 5% on what I put on the card? I read the target web site and it sounded like they will deduct out the gift card values and the remainder that is put on the debit card is what I get the 5% on. Please let me know. Thanks for your help.

This is where the other thread was very helpful. You must purchase the cards online to get the full 5% off with only using gift cards. When you get to checkout you must have your target card as the primary payment method. Before you hit complete, you can edit your payment method and choose your gift cards. Note you can only use 4 gift cards per transaction. You should be able to get the full 5% off with only using gift cards.
