AFFORDABLE DISNEY using Disney Gift Cards

Thanks for breaking this down so simply. When you buy Target gift cards on eBay-are you using GCM? I'm thrown a bit by the $2.99 shipping since that cuts into the savings.[/QUOTE
It does cut into the savings, that's why people wait for the 3X/4X/5X eBay bucks and buy higher denomination but fewer cards.

I just read this thread for ha ha's.... it is has EXACTLY the same info as the other thread. I see that OP thought it might be simpler, but it's actually more confusing
And for that reason, I think that I'm done responding to this thread. If people want help, there are plenty of answers on the other thread. It makes no sense to keep two threads with the same information going.

I don't remember if I mentioned it or not, but on Mypoints, they have videos you can watch to earn points. You get one point per video, maximum 75 points from videos daily. That makes it add up quickly.

Is there a way to make the computer scroll through the videos? Or even be able to click next or anything? The videos are pretty quick, but I"m having to scroll down to click on the next video to keep them going. Just wondering if there is a better way?

I've tried to sift back on the original gc thread but it's just way too long. I can't even find where this newer process starts to get explained. So if the OP can simplify it here, up on the original post, that would be great.

It doesn't look like the OP has visited this thread since they originally posted.

Im not going to sift through 600+ pages in the other thread to find something I'm trying to look for. There are a lot of people in that thread and way too much chitter-chatter thats not on topic (I saw it the one time I visited). I'm wondering why some of you who are in that thread are over here in this one knocking it? If you want to participate in the other thread then by all means its there for you. If someone starts another thread I really don't see the problem. No one is forcing any of us to open a thread.

The big thread just has way too much info for a beginner. So many different strategies being used and its confusing to the point of being silly. If a thread were made that specifically stayed on the eBay/Target/eBates combo, I'd be all for it and find it quite helpful. When you add in Swagbucks, MyPoints, iConsumer, InboxDollars, Kroger, Fuel Rewards, etc (because of different strageties) it gets hard to follow a method with all those names being thrown around.

I'm new to this myself and have been sharing what I've learned but the same thing will happen here. There's no way every question will be about ebay/Target/ebates. The churning is not static. If it were that thread would be 3 pages long. I'm OK either way but it is true that if this thread takes off, there will be two threads to follow.

One site that I use to earn gift cards and it cost me nothing is shop kick. You earn points by walking into stores and scanning items. You can also set up credits cards and get points from purchases that you make with those cards. I already have enough points to get $350 dollars in target gift cards. I signed up for the red debit card at target and I will receive a discount of 5%. Shop kicks do have other gift cards, but I want the disney gift cards for my daughters 18th birthday trip in September. I am trying to see how many points I can get before the trip. This is an app that you down load onto your phone. I hope this helps some of you out there.

I've only been at this a month and had no problems finding the info I needed in the other thread. The same thing will happen to this thread. My thinking was, if I really want to save the money, I'll do the little bit of legwork to find the info and ask questions as I go. And it has been the easiest $1,100 i've ever earned. Glad I took the time.

And the problem begins. Why Ebates? I find it easier to use a SB (for eBay)/MP (for Target) combo so that I get a little more value from my Ebay purchases and don't have to buy a small item from Target. That is how the other thread got so big and why this one will too. Just because you prefer/think its easier this way does not mean its the right strategy for everybody.

A few questions...
1) I received a $10 off $25 purchase at eBay in the mail today. Can I use it at GCM? Or do I have to buy from a seller.
2) how do you get Ebucks promos?
3) do you buy gift cards at EBay or at GCM?

Just trying to figure out how to get started. I was using Raise pretty regularly but the discounts are slim now and I had 3 Target cards drained within days of getting them so I am waiting for Raise to get back to me.

Someone should be able to answer your questions in the "other" Disney Gift Card Deals thread, which is always very active.

Just because you use a different method also does not mean its the right way for everybody. The was kind of my point? If there was a thread dedicated to each of the different methods, then it would be easier for those who are using those different methods instead of having 5 or 6 different strategies all crammed into one thread.

1) You would need to buy from GCM on eBay.
2) They pop up at different times. Always check your email (the one your eBay account is registered under) and look in your eBay account on the site to see if you have a notification.
3) I have not done either yet as I'm waiting for an eBay Bucks promo before I buy anything.

See? Very next post is not about ebay/Target/ebates :teeth:

If you are talking about my post just before your's it does talk about target. I take my points from this app to buy target gift cards and I choose to buy disney gift cards. When you cash in your points on this app you can choose to get the target gift cards to buy eBay gift cards and churn them. I think that everyone should have as many options as they can get to earn free disney gift cards. I thought that this is what the threads are all about. How to get free cards. If I am wrong could someone let me know? :thanks:

My point on why the other thread is so long.

The was kind of my point?

OK, I thought it was that the other thread is too long for you to sift through.

If there was a thread dedicated to each of the different methods, then it would be easier for those who are using those different methods instead of having 5 or 6 different strategies all crammed into one thread.

That would be a LOT of threads for regulars to check and answer questions, so many newbie questions would likely get lost in the mix.

Thank you. I found the GCM on EBay:rolleyes1 it was right there. Not sure how I missed it:rolleyes: Now to wait for a promo.:worship::worship:

Who has time for 5 or 6 more threads? Feel free to start and maintain them. The giant thread works *because* it is so active. I was just doing a little here and there until havaneselover and someone else posted about Kroger fuel point on that thread. At time time, I was buying probably 150 gallons of fuel a month, so that was a huge money saver for me. Had I not been following that huge thread with all the different angles, I likely wouldn't have gone to Disney in January, and definitely wouldn't be going again in May and October. Other posts about other money making/saving tangents have been incredibly helpful. Some were very short-lived (applepay and discover), others have changed. The big thread is still, by far, the best source of info. If you don't find it beneficial, you simply don't have to bother with it :)
