aerosol deodarent / no blisters??????

Some people have suggested that you spray your feet with aerosol deodarent and you won't get blisters. I went to walmart last night and was unsure what brand was the best. Any suggestions for people who do this.

It definitely works! I am very prone to getting blisters. During our February trip, I used spray deodorant and never got a blister! I used a generic brand.

I don't think the brand matters, just make sure it's antipersperant (not deodorant). I used Arid and didn't get a single blister. Something else you can do is rub your feet (or anywhere else you perpire heavily or that has a tendency to chafe) with a product called Bodyglide. It's wonderful! You can find it in some sporting goods stores or order it online.

This is supposed to be an old army trick that works well. I'm going to give it a shot myself!

I love this trick! I use it all the time....feet don't get blisters or all sweaty.

I always use Arid XX spray...it is also nice because they have an unscented version......

If you don't want to use a spray, Avon (yes I sell it) has a balm which is an anti-friction product sold under their Foot Works line. I believe it's less than $5. You can purchase it through a representative or on-line.

I used it in February and it worked great. It wasn't too sticky, didn't have to wait for it to dry either, just put on my cotton socks and away I went.

I've never heard of this before, but I just saw it in a magazine and now here. I'll have to try it in July (last time I got blisters, even though I had never gotten them before.)
