Well we had threads on Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister. So that's where I got the idea from.

What are your opinions on Aeropostale and American Eagle?

Aero's nice, but everything has such a narrow fit to it. I find all of their clothes, the bigger size you buy, all they are is longer. They're still like an XS through the waist even in the large. It's annoying.

As for American Eagle, I only like it for basic basic things like shorts or a tank top. Everyone shops there and it's annoying to see 5 other people wearing the same shirt as you. Their clothes don't fit me great, they're not really for people with a chest. They're like Aero, you buy a bigger size, it gets longer, but doesn't reallly get bigger anywheres else. God forbid they make the chest part of the shirt bigger -.-.

Ditto. I like Aero for jeans and sweats. Sometimes hoodies and PJs. Their tee shirts are too small for me. I can only wear baby fit, the other kind has too much space between the armpit and the top of the shoulder so I end up pulling the shirt up and it folds. Even the XL is large, and it doesn't fit my chest and full tummy.

I like AE for tees and shorts. I haven't tried anything else. The quality is good, I've had shirts for over a year and they still look new, no fade or stitches falling out.
But last year, I was wearing a shirt I've worn like 3 times before. Another girl (cheerleader, big snob) came in late and was wearing the same shirt, which she'd never worn before. I was kinda pissed cause everyone was coming up to me "Oh Sonya, you know you're wearing the same shirt as J?" I was like "No, I've worn this before, J is wearing the same shirt as ME!".

I love them both, but mostly American Eagle & Aerie. [:

Ahah, one time I had gotten a shirt that says 'Find inspiration everywhere' for my birthday, I didn't buy it. I wore it the next day to school and this little airhead was like 'OMG you are wearing a shirt that I just bought! You evil person', or something like that.
And I was like... yeah.
I didn't exactly pick this out myself.

i like both but i prefer aero... every single shirt in AE looks exactly the same haha.. theyre just like plain tees, with some type of words stitched to them... aero at least has some cool designs (not just lettering) printed on them

I love AE, as do most people my age here.
Aeropostale has really cute stuff but it never fits right. I loooove their tees but they're always cut badly, as mentioned before. They get longer, but not any wider.

AE has good quality jeans and pants. Seems like they last forever.
The tee shirts are kinda boring but the dressy tops are cool.

i dont like aeropostale. they clothes are way too big on me and are really blocky. and they are bad quality.

i love ae. their clothes are great quality and last a long time. they also get new clothes often. and have a lot of different sizes (XXS-XXL).

I Like Aero. I don't get any pants from there, but I get sleepwear from there, and tops. All their sleepwear is sorta big, I have to wear an XXS O.o

I <3333 AE. :] Their Tops Are So Cute! Ditto with the pants thing, the only place I get my pants from is Abercrombie Kids.

I only get hoodies and jewelry from Aero. Everything else is just like what everybody else said- it just gets longer. And Im on the short side, so when things get longer without getting wider, it doesnt work for me. But most of the American Eagle stuff works for me tho, with the exception of a few of the shirts which arent big enough in the chest. We had to wear polos at my old school, and everybody ALWAYS bought the exact same things so everybody always ended up wearing the same things everyday. it was awful- we all looked like clones.

I used to shop at Aeropostale when I was in 5th-6th grade.

I don't think I've ever even stepped foot into an AE.

Soooo many people here shop there. Fox & Billabong are very popular.
Seems like the online store has more than most of the actual stores.

Back on topic, lol.

I think I usually buy on sale at AE online because seriously, things are full priced for like a week and a half and then you can get them so much cheaper!

I love American Eagle because i don't have a hollister or abercrombie where i live. But we just got Aeropostale, and i don't seem to like it all that much.It has been open for about a month and i have gone in there twice and i haven't bought a thing.

American Eagle takes forever to mark stuff down.
Just because it's marked down online, means nothing instore.

I like both. I agree though, AE clearance rack is where I'm at! I do find that Aero is usually cheaper (which I love!). I went last weekend and got 2 shirts that are like 3/4 length sleeves (I'm thinking back to school clothes already ahaha) for $1.80 EACH! And I got cute khaki bermudas for $20. Pretty good, considering the shorts weren't on clearance and that's a better price than AE shorts usually.

My other complaint about AE is that long pants sizes are hard to find...and nearly impossible to find on clearance. But they fit sooo good I absolutely love them.

But AE's got me hooked with that dumb access pass. I cringe when I'm like 5 points away from a new one so I go buy earrings or something. The earning period that just ended, I had like 180, but I didn't need anything so I resisted the urge to go buy stuff to get to 200 and the 40% coupon. haha. I can live with 30%.

i love American Eagle better but we dont have a hollister around here and i think areo doesnt have good quality stuff
