Aerial Pix of US & IOA

Akdar, how do you go about saving those pictures? It never seems to want to let me save them.
OK, there are a few steps to take to make it work.

1. Get the pic you want on your screen
2. hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard, this copies the pic to the clipboard
2. Open the photo editor of your choice (I use Photoshop) and paste the pic as a new image
3.Crop the the pic if you want to
4.I then make sure the size and resolution are not that big, so if someone doesn't have cable or DSL internet, it doesn't take a week to open!

I try to keep the bytes under 300k and the size from 800 to 1000 pixels in width

There is probably someone on here that is more of a computer photo editing geek than myself :badpc: , that might have a better way, but that's how I do it!

Sorry I haven't posted more pics lately, the laptop I use for a lot of this stuff was stolen, and I have been dealing with that (changing passwords, filing an insurance claim, blah blah....) so now someone has a lot of pics from my last 3 UO trips :sad2: But most of them were also dumped into my main pooter at my house, so they are not lost for good

That laptop also had my verizon wireless internet card in it, so that was my main way of accessing the internet during the day from work, so I have some catching up to do here!

I've been playing around with the aerial views and saving pictures. This is one I just got of the PBH villa pool.

That site is great. I was using it to look at Disneyland to figure out where we wanted to stay in the summer. You can see all of the walkways, etc. It's fun to look at things from a totally new perspective.

Thank you for the wonderful photo of Portofino! I cannot wait until my September stay.

It's been a little while, so here's a shot of Uni for everyone :)
