Advise on Magical Express with early and late international flights?

Hi,

We are staying at the Coronado Springs and would like to take advantage of the Magical Express. The only thing that worry me is that I have read many reviews and there are mixed feelings about it, especially late and early flights.

We arrive at 10:15pm and depart on a 7:00 am flight between Toronto and Orlando. I will make sure we have our night stuff so we can go straight to bed once checked in.

But should I book something like the *********** taxi service to ensure late and early pick-up? I so don't want to miss my flight going home or having to wait for the communal ME at 3-4am for a 7:00 flight, kwim?

One other thing that worry me is the carseats. The kids still need carseats/booster. With the ME and the way buses work, I'm somewhat comfortable enough to fly without a carseat for the first time since having kids. But the *********** only would have one booster in the car.

What would you suggest I do? Stick to the ME?

You'll go through US Customs and Immigration in Tornoto (unless something has changed since the last time I flew out of Toronto). So, for Magical Express purposes, it will be just like arriving on a US domestic flight.

Take a look at another thread from today, "Anyone not use the free Magical Express??" for opinions (including my opinion) about what to do if you're arriving late.

As far as your early morniing departure is concerned, the scheduled Magical Express pickup time for a US domestic flight would be around 4:00 a.m. For an international flight, you would typically request an even earlier pickup. Yes, that's very early, but your flight is very early! If you take a towncar or taxi, you can leave about 30 minutes later than with Magical Express. Well, you could leave more than 30 minutes later, but would start to eliminate the "margin of safety" for various kinds of delays.
