advise needed

I recently submitted an offer to buy two dvc packages at ssr one for 160 pts at 78.00 a point and one for 80.00 for 300 points...we are going on the west coast cruise in two days..I am afraid that disney might buy up my offer but I won't know until I get back off of the cruise. Some say that during the cruise we will be offered a one time deal to save if I buy on the cruise..can anybody tell me if they think my offer will make it through Disney.

It's always a crap shoot as to whether or not Disney will exercise their ROFR rights. I just bought an OKW contract for $75, and in that same week two people posted that their contracts at $76 were bought by Disney, so who knows what they will do? I do think that you should be pretty safe, since SSR is still selling points. Others may argue that Disney could buy your contracts and resell for $96. It's hard to say for sure, but all you can do is try.

I may be off on this as I never went on the tour but I took the incentive that was offered as listed on its website. I think the offer is the current incentive (whatever it may be) but because you went on the tour, there is a time limit to it. Some of the more knowledgeable DVC members here can correct me if I'm wrong. The incentive will not be as good as what you can purchase resale but there are some advantages to purchasing directly such as financing, getting in the system quicker, etc. Good luck and have fun on the cruise.
