Advice Wanted: WL Standard Room

Hi everyone!

We will be staying at the WL for the first time in December, Christmas week! Never stayed at a deluxe resort before, but from what I've heard the resorts are huge! That being said, we would like to know what location to request for a standard room.

Any standard rooms that over look the front lobby to see the Christmas tree? How about rooms close to the bus stops or the boat?

Hi Diznee 25!

I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge twice, both times in standard rooms, both times I requested overlooking the lobby. I loved it.
First was with DH, DD(4 at the time) and DNephew(6 at the time). We had a double and bunk bed room. The second was with DH and 2 DFriends. We had the 2 double beds.

The lobby wasn't noisy to us at all - we barely heard anything. The view out the balcony was just of a roof top - but we weren't out there much either time. I preferred sitting on the interior balconies and watching the people.

The lobby rooms are about equal distance from the bus stop and the boat dock.

Going again in January for the marathon - booked standard again.
