We have been to WDW more than 10 times already, but have always picked a car up at the airport on arrival.

Due to the fact that we'll be arriving late and leaving very early (8 AM) , we have chosen to use ME instead of going through the hassle of picking up and returning the rental car when we arrive/depart.

Since we're using Hertz (got speciel rate through workplace) this is especially a problem when returning home, since we often have a lot of luggage which makes using the car rental shuttle troublesome.

So we have made reservations at the 7471 West Irlo Bronson location, where we'll pick up the car the day after our arrival and return it the day before we leave.

My question is - What is the easiest way to get to and from this location ?

We'll be staying at CSR.

Thanks in advance for any advice

They do have a location at Shades of Green that would be closer:

Shades of Green Resort
1950 Magnolia Palm
Hours Of Operation: 0800-1700 7 Days

Thanks for your answer,

Yes we did see the Shades of Green location, but they have a limited choice of cars.

My husband wanted a convertible and the closest place we could find that offered a convertible were the Kissimee location. This will be our 20th_ anniversary_first_trip_without_kids vacation so he want to try some of the things we haven't been able to do for a looooong time :car:

You do curbside check in with the luggage at the airport if you rent from Hertz. Then you can return the car. I think you would have better luck with choice of cars at the airport. The Kissimmee lot is pretty small.

I have used Hertz at the airport many times with no problems.

We too have used Hertz at the airport many times with no problems, but this time it is not really conveinient. We arrive very late in the evening, and will love not having to go pick up the car before going to CSR.

But the main key word here is that we DON'T want to have to return the car the day we leave, it's much easier just using ME since we're leaving so early

Besides we can't use curbside check in because we're travelling out of the country. We have already received confirmation that the Kissimee location can deliver the type of car my husband wants, something that the Shade of Green could not

So my question remains - what is the easiest way to get to and from the Kissimee location

You have two options:

A) Taxi (cost from CSR would probably be about $15 each way)

B) Call that Hertz location (phone number probably available from the Hertz web site) and ask if they offer any pickup/dropoff service for renters from Disney resorts.

Thank you very much for the information :thumbsup2

Has anyone used this location before and know if they offer pickup ?

It is a Hertz local edition and they used to offer pickup. I would call them and make your arrangements.

Since it seems that no one is actually answering your question:
YES they offer pickup and dropoff service to/from WDW resorts. You simply call their local number at least 30 minutes prior. We are doing this again next week. As for the selection, you choose the car when you make your online reservations, so it doesn't matter how small their lot is, they'll have your car delivered to their "small" lot in time for you to pick it up!
P.S. We are renting from them in Kissimmee and dropping at MCO. We find it to be much more convenient than ME!

Thank you very much, That was precisely the information I needed.
