Advice - Top 5 offsite condos

Hi everyone,

Bonnet Creek looks lovely, but what would your top 5 choices be for condos close to Disney? Thanks!

We've rented in Windsor Palms and thought the condos were very nice, close to Disney, nice property and far enough off 192 to be quiet and secluded but close enough to be just a short drive from shops and restaurants.

Good Question...judging from info on this forum, our experience over the years of traveling many times, and now just hanging out for 3 months in the winter, I would say these are the top condos by popularity...(these are not timeshares and are usually much lower priced by the week than timeshares. High end timeshares will have marble and tile and other fancy stuff...these are all very nice but will rarely have the marble baths, whirlpool tubs, 50inch TV and so on)

2. Emerald Island
3. Windsor Palms
4. Bahama Bay
5. Take your pick...Villas at Island Club, Villas at Sommerset, Encantata,

I may have totally blanked on some that others may help with you with...

I don't have personal experience with this but my coworker, just today, told me how wonderful Lake Buena Visit Village Resort and Spa was. She said it wonderful and a very good price.

We LOVED Windsor Hills...also for sure would consider Bonnet Creek as they have more onsite activities and such. Windsor Hills was very peaceful [no activities].

Bonnet Creek is far and away my favorite!

Windsor Hills closer to some Disney parks than staying onsite - We own DVC but have stayed at WH and rented through the site link below - The gentleman who rents the units IS very easy to deal with and his prices are great - but usually ONLY rents sat-sat

I've also stayed at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas and really liked it there. The 2BR was huge, and I liked the size of the complex (not too big with all the buildings around the pool/activity area). I know that Cypress Pointe Resort (Phase I - CPGV was Phase II) was renovated not too long ago, and they may have renovated CPGV by now.

It's location is great - very near Downtown Disney and also great access to the back way to go to Universal or Sea World.
