Yes - I know it is a personal choice. However, this is our forth year going to Disney in December/January time frame.

The last three years, we have stayed at BWV with a wonderful, "to die for" Boardwalk view room. I LOVE that view. I also love the close proximity to the Boardwalk area in general - just go down the elevator and you are there with several food options. And, the pool is very easy to watch my 6 year old swim (yes, we are from Wisconsin and we swim every January without any complaints!). I really don't have any negatives for this resort - long hallways included. In fact, we request to be WAY down the hallway, because it gives us a better view of Illuminations. Three doors from the end of the hall last year!

But - we have stayed at Beach Club for shorter trips and really did like it. For a change of pace this January, I am debating switching to Beach Club. We really do like SAB and the rooms are always nice. It is a tad bit closer to Epcot - which is our favorite park. And, my husband thinks it would be fun to do something different. I don't have any negatives, but just think I would miss my Boardwalk View. Also, if the weather is not so great, SAB is not quite as fun. Long walk to the slide entrance makes for a cold mom and daughter!

So - I guess I am just wondering if any one wants to share their opinion! :goodvibes Either way, I will be at Disney - right?!

Also - don't want to split the stay... while it is easy and we have done it, I am looking forward to spending 6 nights in the same room. The 6 year old takes too much stuff with her now!

In January, I would stay with BWV Boardwalk view! I love the winding river at SAB, and I can spend hours there, but the air temp in January could mean that DH wouldn't be comfortable, basking there. Usually in January, I take short morning dips in one of the quiet pools of whatever resort we're at.

The last two January trips - we spent a lot of time in the pool. We get to the parks when they open, so by 1-2pm, we head back for a break. Have some nice pool time - but the weather has been very nice too. We also like evening swimming... I can sit in the hot tub and watch my 6 year old go up the stairs for the slide at BWV - then get out to see her hit the water... get back in the hot tub and repeat. Won't have that luxury at BCV - so that is a small issue.

But, change is good. Closer to Beaches and Cream is good - so I am starting to think of changing the January trip. Besides, there is a hot tub by the sand pool area - right? I can sit in there and let my DD play in the pool there without many worries! :cool1:

Well... looks like I don't have to worry. No studios available at BCV for Saturday and Sunday night (most likely due to the marathon) - the rest of the week is open, but I don't want to spend 2 nights at one place, then 4 nights at another... unless my family insists.

But - thanks for listening and helping. I obviously don't want to work today, so I am obsessing over my trip that is 6 months away! :sunny:
