Advice please

I want to spend two days in the clearwater beach area before we head to Disney. Any advice as to where to stay. How about how to get some good deals. Anyone ever use Hotwire for this area. Thanks for any help.

We've stayed at the Adam's Mark hotel on Clearwater Beach several times and have always been pleased. It's upscale and oceanfront with a nice pool. Here's the link: http://www.adamsmark.com/clearwater/index.asp Right across the street is a family owned restaurant called Post Corner Pizza that we love! Not only do they have a great pizzas and a nice Italian menu, but they also serve breakfast in the mornings! One day, we left our daughter's sippy cup behind by accident after breakfast and when we returned there to eat dinner, not only did they remember us and still had the cup, they also had washed it!!

Thanks for the reply. I have it narowed down to Adams Mark, Holiday Inn and Hilton. It's kind of tricky trying to find what I need with clearwater beach being the island and this is were I want to be. Then Clearwater is across the bridge. Thanks again

Hi Stacy,

I lived in Clearwater many years ago as a child. Even though I no longer have relatives there, I've taken my dh and children back several times to visit. It's a great place to relax! I hope you have a wonderful trip!

I don't know whether you've booked already, but IMO...the Hilton is the nicest of those 3 and also has the best location.
HTH and have a great time! Clearwater is wonderful. Make sure to eat at Frenchy's restaurant, ony a few blocks from the Hilton, whatever you decide.
